Alu-Cab Roof Conversion “Hercules G2” for Toyota Land Cruiser 75 & 78, white

With the Alu-Cab Hercules Gen2 Roof Conversion, you can transform your Toyota Land Cruiser 75 or 78 into a fully equipped overland vehicle with additional living and sleeping space. When opened, the roof conversion provides enough headroom to stand comfortably inside the vehicle as well as a spacious sleeping area for two people. The 70 mm thick, dual-layer mattress provides comfortable sleeping conditions.

Three large openings with integrated mosquito nets provide excellent ventilation and clear views of the surroundings while keeping insects out. The rear entrance features a small canopy that provides additional protection from sun and rain. Integrated LED reading lights and interior lighting provide sufficient illumination inside the sleeping area after dark.

Developed for the requirements of the European market, the Hercules Gen2 is manufactured from 2 mm thick aluminium and follows the design language of the original vehicle roof. Integrated tubular supports provide additional structural stability, while the C-channels on the roof make it easy to mount additional accessories. The quilted headliner features an insulating foam layer to improve comfort in varying weather conditions.

The roof conversion uses a robust 400 g/m² tent fabric with a polyurethane membrane and stretch properties. This construction helps reduce fabric movement in windy conditions while providing privacy and water resistance. Gas struts allow the roof to be opened within seconds, while an integrated elastic cord system helps draw the tent fabric inward when closing the roof.

The integrated roof rails support a roof load of up to 150 kg, providing additional carrying capacity for solar panels, load bars or other travel equipment.

The Hercules Gen2 Roof Conversion is suitable for both the Toyota Land Cruiser 75 and 78 Series and is available as standard in Black, White and Sand Beige.

Installation requires part of the vehicle’s original roof to be cut away. The Hercules Roof Conversion is then fitted to the remaining roof structure, secured from the inside using the appropriate mounting brackets and sealed externally with suitable adhesive and sealing materials.

If the installation is carried out by the customer, Genesis Import GmbH accepts no liability for defects or damage resulting from the self-installation. This also applies to consequential damage caused by incorrect or improper installation.

No installation instructions or TÜV documentation are supplied with the Roof Conversion. When purchasing the Roof Conversion, the corresponding waiver included in the appendix must be signed.
