The Alu-Cab Gen 3-R rooftop tent is designed for travellers who do not want to compromise on comfort, quick operation or practical features on longer journeys. The robust aluminium hard shell can be opened and closed in just a few seconds with the help of gas struts, making it particularly convenient when changing campsites frequently. Its aerodynamic profile keeps the rooftop tent compact on the vehicle.
Inside, the Gen 3-R provides a 2100 × 1300 mm sleeping area for two adults. The standard 70 mm high-density foam mattress with removable cover provides a comfortable sleeping base. A breathable 3D mesh layer underneath supports airflow and helps manage moisture. The roof and floor are also insulated.
The Gen 3-R is also well equipped for longer trips. USB-A and USB-C ports, integrated LED lighting, several interior storage pockets, solar preparation and a connection for a suitable heater add extra comfort on the road. Three large openings make access easier and allow flexible ventilation. Additional rain protection provides extra shelter around the rooftop tent.
Integrated C-channels provide flexible mounting options for compatible accessories and additional equipment. The roof can carry up to 50 kg of additional load, allowing the Gen 3-R to be adapted to different vehicle and travel setups.
